Responsive Web Design
Bring to life the stories of the people and place that make Jack Daniel's great.
The project goal was to create and pitch a new vision for the Jack Daniel's global website. We needed to develop engaging stories for both users and stakeholders and create new brand advocates while retaining the essence of its cult following and offering them a unique experience.
ROLE
Bring to life the stories of the people and place that make Jack Daniel's great.
The project goal was to create and pitch a new vision for the Jack Daniel's global website. We needed to develop engaging stories for both users and stakeholders and create new brand advocates while retaining the essence of its cult following and offering them a unique experience.
TOOLS & METHODS
I was responsible for leading the UX for the project—producing sitemaps, personas, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and helping to shape the design direction. We created five key personas and based all our concepts and pitch story around a party-planning scenario to help stakeholders engage with our vision and their customers.
OUTCOME
Some of the ideas were centered around an interactive gallery of the master distillers, a live video feed from the town where the whiskey is made (allowing visitors to book a 1-1 virtual tour.) We also allowed users to register their bottles online with a simple barcode scan—great for collectors of rare and vintage editions.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
